Event details

Join us for a virtual tour of London’s historic Spitalfields, once the site of a medieval infirmary for infectious diseases, and Broadgate, one of the most striking areas of modern architecture and engineering in London.

Hosted by Peter Burley, (BA History, 1970), Chair of the York in London alumni group, this tour will give you a chance to experience two of the most fascinating districts of London from the comfort of your own home. Join us for a tantalising glimpse behind the facades of buildings normally closed to the public. Explore secret rooms and the hidden past.

Peter’s tours are regularly fully booked, so please reserve your place early to avoid disappointment.

This event is free to attend but any donations to support the Emergency Student Support Fund will be hugely welcome. The fund provides financial support of up to £500 (per applicant) for students facing unanticipated financial challenges due to the pandemic. If you would like to make a donation or find out more, please click here.
