Join Robin Perutz for a unique exploration of nature on the campus. Bring your binoculars (or borrow a pair from Robin) to catch sight of the birds which visit our campus at this time of year and look out for places to spot other flora and fauna later in the year. 

Professor Robin Perutz has been looking out for campus birds and flowers since he arrived at the University more than 40 years ago. His day job has been as a Professor of Chemistry at the University. His research speciality is Chemistry with light, especially utilisation of solar energy.

What to wear and bring

Please note that this walk will be over uneven ground and will be outside. It may be wet underfoot, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear. We will not always be on footpaths. Wellies or waterproof shoes recommended. 

Bring binoculars if you have some. A few pairs will be available to borrow.
