In this interactive Book Club Session led by Amie-May Wilson, Student Support Advisor at the International Pathway College at the University of York, we will discuss Florence Given's book "Women Living Deliciously". Topics that we will cover may include the following: Beauty Sickness, The Surveyed Female, Fear of Success and the "Perfect Feminist" Myth.                                                                       

The aim of the event is to build community in the similarities of experiencing life as a woman. It will contribute to multiple Sustainable Development Goals such as gender equality, good health and wellbeing, and sustainable cities and communities.

This event is an online event only and attendees are asked to register via Eventbrite. The event will be held in English without subtitles.

About Florence Given (the author)

Florence Given is a record breaking, internationally bestselling feminist author, award-winning podcaster and illustrator based in London. She recently made it onto Forbes 30 under 30 list in recognition for her empowering social media content. Florence broke records with her first book, "Women Don't Owe You Pretty", a feminist manifesto which challenged outdated patriarchal narratives and inspired women across the globe.
