Event details

York Cares, who work with businesses across the city to empower their employees to volunteer across the community, is partnering with the University of York to help improve the environment to benefit both the local community and wildlife.

During this session you will help in maintaining the mini forest on Campus East, with the opportunity to weed and mulch around the trees to help them thrive.

The tasks will be led by Gordan Eastham, Grounds Manager who has extensive environmental experience. You do not need any experience, but this will be a physical outdoor event, and anyone who has issues with bending, digging etc may find this event unsuitable.

Please book your spot through the Google form provided.
