Event details
Socialudo is a social enterprise set up by Professors Alasdair Rutherford and Vikki McCall in 2023 to design and deliver 'analogue' serious games.
In this seminar, Alasdair will talk about their approach to using serious games over the past ten years, initially in research and now for creating evidence-based impact with organisations and communities. Socialudo has developed games about ageing populations, social entrepreneurship, global climate action, and building community resilience.
As part of the seminar, Alasdair will demo the new print-and-play game they have developed about community responses to flooding risks, funded by the National Centre for Resilience.
