Event details

As part of the University's Deep Geothermal Energy project, there will be a research focused workshop on 16 July.

The purpose of the workshop is: 

  1. To hear project overviews from both the British Geological Society and the University of York's Directorate of Technology, Estates and Facilities.

  2. To begin discussions relating to how the project could align with colleagues' research interests. The research opportunities presented by the project are varied and the intention is to collate the UoY research vision with the aim of securing external investment to deliver the research agenda - this workshop is the first stage in the process.

After we have considered the UoY opportunities, other institutions will be brought into the discussion.
