Rutgers University 

Study in the US at Rutgers University this summer! The University of Hong Kong (HKU)

The University of Hong Kong is running a Summer Program “Global Business in Asia: New Horizons” (GBIA) and invite your students to apply. http://www.fbe.hku.hk/gbia/.

GBIA is a 4-week, credit-bearing program run solely by our Faculty with the first two weeks in Hong Kong and the remaining two weeks in Shanghai. It provides participants with a good understanding of the business environments and the economy of China and the region.

Participants will enroll in two courses in the Program: “Chinese Business and Marketing” and “The China Economy: Implications for Global Business”, each carrying 6 HKU credits. Aside from in-class learning activities, many site visits to leading industries will be arranged in both cities and there will also be various guest talks by academics and business leaders to enrich students’ learning experience.

We target students from all over the world and aim to have a pool of students with diverse academic and cultural background. The whole program will be conducted in English and no knowledge of the Chinese language is required.

In summer 2012, there were participants from North America, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Romania, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. They shared an exciting time learning and living together with lots of academic and cultural exchange.

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid Summer School

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid Summer School, “Spanish Law, Politics and Economics” is open to anyone interested in an introduction to different current topics in these fields.

The lessons will be complemented by visits to some of the most important juridical and political institutions (Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Congress, Royal Palace) in which the students will be accompanied by professors. Some of the sessions will also include film projections and hands-on practical exercises. The course lasts 2 weeks (1-12 July).

Sciences Po! Summer Schools in Paris and Menton

Two exceptional programmes, one hosted on our Paris campus and the other located on our Menton campus.

French applied to Social Sciences Programme, Paris, July 1st – 26th, 2013

  • a 74 hour programme of French, at beginners’ level with small-sized classes and individual tutorials,

or

  • a 84 hour programme of French, intermediate and advanced levels, with rigorous language practice through theatre, workshops and classes about French history and institutional frameworks.

Application: will be open starting January 15th, 2013 until April 15th, 2013. Admission will be on a first come first served basis. Places are limited (up to 50 students).

Cornell University Summer School and Scholarship

Would you like to spend a Summer vacation studying at a top US University?

The UK based Alumni of Cornell University, who make up the Cornell Club of London, are offering a scholarship for UK undergraduate students to study in the USA.

The successful applicant will receive a scholarship to cover the major costs of attending Cornell's Summer Session where a wide range of courses are on offer, ranging from electronic art, to astronomy, to animal husbandry.

Cornell is a world class Ivy League university with, typically, wonderful summer weather in a rural campus of outstanding natural beauty, yet only a few hours from New York City.  Cornell's summer session attracts students of all ages and from all over the U.S. - and further afield. The six week summer session runs from June to August, including an exam period at the end of the session. The Scholarship winner will be invited to choose two courses (up to nine credits) from any discipline, except special programmes and physical education courses; The Summer Session catalogue will be issued in early March, and advice will be available to assist the Scholarship winner to select appropriate courses and process the summer school application.

You should note that preference is given to candidates with limited, or no, US experience. 

Ural Federal University 

Summer School 2013 “Russian Studies in Real Russia” will be held for the 3rd time at Ural Federal University (Ekaterinburg, Russia) from July 29th to August 16th , 2013.

The Summer School 2013 offers the programme “Russian Studies in Real Russia: Russia X dimension” aimed at studying the political, cultural and economic processes in the development of contemporary Russia (lectures in English\Russian) and also the Russian language in full for different levels and in different aspects. The courses are for students of all levels of the Russian language from A1 to C1.

In addition, the Summer School gives participants the unique opportunity to visit the best places of interest both in Ekaterinburg and the Ural region, practicing Russian language in academic and informal environments.
