This sociology degree is designed for students with a particular interest in criminology. It draws upon a broad range of sociological, social psychological and cultural forms of analysis in order to better understand contemporary forms of crime and deviance.
The degree will appeal to students with an interest in ethnographic and cultural accounts of crime who are also keen to understand the broader global socio-economic contexts of contemporary criminality and its regulation and control.
The classroom contact time for this course is 12 hours per week in the first year, this intensive format helps you to build up your knowledge, skills and confidence when you first arrive with us.
