‘What does Biology have to do with Robots?’ This was the theme of Professor Jon Timmis’ fascinating talk to an engrossed audience of boys and dons, in the Coffee Shop at Radley College, during Academic Priority Time on Wednesday, 25th February.

Professor Timmis, from York Robotics Laboratory, explained what constitutes a robot (sensors, controllers and activators) and explained how, for example, we can get robots to learn how to walk or go up stairs.  More information and pictures from the talk are on the Radley College website.
