Governance
CNAP manages its processes through a Management Board that meets twice a year.
The membership and responsibilities of the Board are as follows:
CNAP:
Director (Prof Ian Graham),
Research Chairs (Profs Dianna Bowles, Neil Bruce, Simon McQueen-Mason, Robert Edwards),
CNAP Manager (Dr Caroline Calvert)
Department of Biology:
Head of Department (Professor Deborah F Smith, OBE),
Finance Manager (Michelle Squires)
University of York:
Intellectual Property Manager (Sue Final),
Deputy Finance Director (Rod Peet).
The Management Board is responsible for:
- governance, auditing and strategic planning
- providing assistance to the Director in achieving strategic aims
- financial planning
- performance monitoring relative to Departmental and University aims
- making recommendations on issues (e.g. senior personnel) to be approved by University committees
- reviewing reports on Amaethon activities
