Can I join the Library?

Anyone can use the JB Morrell Library, Raymond Burton Library and King's Manor Library for reference without formality.

If you are a York graduate you can join the Library as an external member for a reduced fee.

What are the benefits of membership?

We are investigating extending the services we provide for York graduates. Please let us know if you have any ideas for services you would be interested in.

In the meantime joining the Library will allow you to:

Unfortunately you won't be able to use our electronic resources unless you visit the Library in person, as publishers' licences restrict their use to current University of York staff and students, or to the Library premises. Most of our electronic resources can be used free of charge on the library premises, as long as that use is for educational purposes (commercial use is prohibited). Further information.
