If you are a member of staff or student you can get access to our growing collection of quality information online including:

  • Full text of more than 10,000 academic journals
  • Over 100 databases which index the content of thousands more journals and other publications
  • Electronic books
  • Databases of images, maps, statistics, datasets and other resources
  • Freely available research from University of York researchers through White Rose Research Online

YorSearch lists all the resources we make available. You will find direct links to electronic resources as well as information on our physical resources (books, journals, microforms, audiovisual, etc.).

Through our E-resources Guide you can find and access all the databases in your subject.

Find e-Journal lists all the full text electronic journals we subscribe to and provides direct links to them.

Finding the information you need

We can help you find what you need more easily for your course work or research:

  • Have a look at the Subject Guides produced by our Academic Liaison Librarians.
  • Contact our Enquiry Service
  • If you would like a more personal approach you can discuss your needs with your Academic Liaison Librarian who will have specialist knowledge of the information needs of the departments they work with.
