Could you be our next Student Curator?

The library curators internships are back! We have two student internships available for this coming summer. If you are passionate about diversity and inclusion, and would like to tell the world about it… this is your chance!

A display featuring posters and books in the library

It’s our third year running these internships and we are already building up great collections about very important themes, such as transgender voices, Eastern European narratives, a showcase of African cultural works, and an anti-racist approach to university level reading and research. See the work done by our previous curators here.

The role will involve researching our collections, purchasing new content, promoting your theme… In the process, you will get the opportunity to work with a team of the fabulous library staff, use several IT tools, lots of planning, discussing, agreeing, disagreeing… all good stuff!

These internships are offered by the library in partnership with Careers and Placements. To learn more about it and apply click on the Handshake link on their webpage. The submission deadline is Sunday 14th April 2024.
