The Department was delighted to host four visits by sixth form students of English Language this week, with over 70 students coming to campus. But these were not just random visits – in every case there was a personal link with a past or present student of our Department.

Marta Szreder has been awarded Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Awards this year. The scheme recognises and rewards colleagues (academics, learning support staff, teaching 'teams' and postgraduates/postdocs who teach) who demonstrate excellence in teaching and/or learning support at York.
