Working on campus
When on campus, you can connect to the network in a number of ways:
- IT classrooms & study areas
- Offices: supported connection
- Offices: unsupported connection

Working off campus
Connect to York facilities when you're away from the University:
- Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- Digital Workspace Service (DWS)
Connect to a virtual desktop- Filestore access
Use Webmail, or set up Thunderbird, Outlook etc to access your mail- Web cache
Set up Internet Explorer, Firefox etc so that you can read journals. Useful if you're unable to use the VPN
