LTC ROLT

A two-day symposium on LTC Rolt, the historian, social and ecological thinker, and pioneer of transport and industrial 'preservation', to mark the 60th anniversary of Rolt's arrival as the first general manager of the Talyllyn Railway uhder the auspices of the preservation society.

This workshop was held in Tywyn, headquarters of the Talyllyn Railway. A special vintage train ran on the Saturday as part of the event.

The workshops (except for that on LTC Rolt) will take place in the Edmondson Room, Search Engine at the National Railway Museum. The NRM is about three minutes’ walk from the railway station, using the footbridge. Please use either the City or Car Park entrances and tell the staff at the welcome desk that you are attending the workshop.

Please note that NRM car-parking charges (£9 per day or part thereof) apply. Free disabled parking is available near the public entrances.
