Student support

The University is a large and lively community of staff and students from a variety of different cultural and educational backgrounds. We understand that adapting to University life, a new city and a new campus, can be a little confusing and overwhelming at times. There are many people who will be happy to help if you have questions or encounter difficulties whilst studying here. Please feel free to approach anyone within the support network with any concerns or questions you may have. The person you talk too will have expertise in specific areas but should also be able to refer you to the best source of specialist advice or information within other parts of the ‘Student Support Network’.

Within Central University Support Services you will find the Accommodation Office, Careers Service, Disability Services, Open Door Team, Equality and Diversity Office, Financial Services Office, International Office, Nursery, Student Administrative Services, Student Financial Support Unit and the  Student Support & Welfare Office. You can also access the Chaplaincy & Multi Faith Contacts, Student Health Centre, Students Union and Study Skills Support.
