Join us for the EDI Beacon Event – Belonging in Environment & Geography at the University of York on Tuesday 10 November 2026.

Through an inspiring keynote by Professor Kathryn Arnold , titled “An Inclusive Environment by Design”, an engaging panel discussion titled "Belonging in Practice: What Helps, What Hinders, What Nurtures Belonging?” and an interactive Belonging Fair, we will explore how we can create a community where everyone feels valued, included and empowered to thrive.

12:00–13:00 | Keynote & Panel Discussion – ARC/014
13:00–16:00 | Belonging Fair – Environment & Geography Foyer
