Overseas Student Bursary

The Department of English and Related Literature is delighted to announce a bursary for Overseas students joining the Department as an undergraduate in October 2012. £1,000 sterling will be awarded, in the form of a partial fee-waiver, to the most successful Overseas English Literature student next October.

To be eligible, students must be:

  • Overseas, ie paying fees at the overseas rate for the three years of their degree course
  • Single subject English Literature (Q300) only
  • 2011/12 UCAS applicants, due to start their course in October 2012.

The award will be based on the candidate's examination performance up to and including A level, or equivalent. Other performance indicators may also be taken into account by the Department's academic assessors.
