Professor Robin Perutz is the latest recipient of The Chemical Society of France (SCF) 2009 SCF French-British Prize in recognition of his outstanding contribution to organometallic chemistry through collaboration with the French scientific community. He has been collaborating with colleagues in Montpellier and Toulouse for about 15 years.
The SCF French-British Prize is awarded every two years in association with the Royal Society of Chemistry. Professor Perutz will receive his award at an official ceremony in France next year and will deliver a series of invited lectures in France.
The SCF Prize joins a growing list of honours awarded to Professor Perutz in recent years: Nyholm Medal and Lectureship of The Royal Society of Chemistry (2005); President of Dalton Division of The Royal Society of Chemistry (2007); Luigi Sacconi Medal of the Italian Chemical Society (2008).
