Professor Gideon Davies wins RSC Peptides and Proteins Award

Professor Gideon Davies has won the Royal Society of Chemistry Peptides and Proteins Award for contribution to the chemistry of enzymes

The award was made for contribution to the chemistry of enzymes including studies on the reaction mechanism of the protein lysozyme and enzyme-catalysed sugar modifications of relevance to diabetes and neurodegeneration. The prize consists of £500 and a silver medal.
