Finding jobs

Two students walking across bridge

Start here if you're looking for a graduate job, an internship, a placement, international opportunities or part-time work.

You can also check out the virtual sessions and recorded presentations about finding and applying for jobs. If you're using Handshake to search vacancies, see our how to guide: how to look for jobs on Handshake to see what it looks like.

Before you apply

If you are applying for any of these types of opportunities:

  • overseas work
  • unpaid internships
  • self-employment / freelance work

take a look at our Before you apply pages for some additional important information.

International students

If you are an international student, please be aware that there will be restrictions on your visa as to how much paid work you can do. You may be particularly interested in looking for part-time work, internships or volunteering as a way of helping to build your CV.

We also have specific advice for international students about improving your chance of getting a job and the benefits of doing so.
