I was a graduate student at York before taking up my post in 1999. I
co-ordinate the masters programmes in Biology most of which are jointly
run with other departments and also teach on undergraduate programmes.
My role has brought me in close contact with many students and in
particular graduate students many of whom are EU or international. I am
trained in a wide variety of welfare issues. Outside of work, I am a
keen triathlete.
