Create a campus for the future

Create a campus for the future

York Unlimited will invest in new teaching and research facilities across campus.

Together we will develop opportunities for accessible and virtual learning to allow great minds to connect, collaborate and flourish.

"University is about giving people the chance to succeed. Giving them the right skills, giving them the right environment, giving them that organisational ability and culture to thrive in the kind of challenging world we live in."

Masud Khokhar, Director of Library and Archives

Putting digital at the heart

York’s 1960s campus was designed on the principles of connectivity, to stimulate collaboration between different groups of people.  From those early days of college buildings in a green field in Heslington we’ve grown to a globally connected community of more than 140,000 alumni, students and staff. York Unlimited will help support a new generation of ambitious thinkers and nurture new talent.

Drawing inspiration from the original campus design, we will blend digital technologies with the physical environment and enhance the spaces in which our teaching and research takes place. Ultimately, we will enable great minds to connect, collaborate and flourish.

Digital technologies are changing the way we learn, work and connect in today's world. By putting digital at the heart of the physical campus, we will provide our students with a connected and personalised user experience.
