Event details

Why do different species of birds have different beaks and feathers?  Which bugs come out at night? Why are flowers flagrant or colourful?

Join children’s author and illustrator Yuval Zommer for a family-friendly creative workshop and discover some of the incredible species that live on our doorsteps. On this journey of exploration, you’ll learn some amazing facts about the bugs, birds, animals and flowers found in our cities and have chance to create your own mini beasts with Yuval’s help.

In-person events

Given the current pandemic and the uncertainty around restrictions lifting, our in-person events may be subject to change. Please check the Festival website and social media for the latest information. Ticket-holders will receive an email to alert them to any changes after booking.
