Handover of new buildings
When a new building is to be 'handed over' to the University, the property form must be completed and returned at least one week prior to handover:
The contents values should be provided by the department where applicable. Insurance will not be in place until the above information has been provided to insurance-enquiries@york.ac.uk and confirmation of cover given.
Unoccupied buildings
The unoccupied property checklist should be completed as part of the weekly inspection in line with the unoccupied risk precautions:
