Men's health @ York

Men, in comparison with women, are less likely to:

  • express concerns about their physical and mental health
  • engage with professional help
  • visit a GP
  • attend an NHS health check.

Men’s Health @ York is an initiative to improve men’s health. We hold sessions for men to get together, take part in activities and support others to talk about physical and mental health issues.

We're supporting opportunities for you to learn more about these issues and discuss them, to access support when you need it - or just to enjoy spending time with other people.

Find people who share your interests - cricket, football, exercise, running, music or squash - or set up your own group.
It's good to talk - find out more about starting the conversation.
