News

If you're travelling overseas on University business, it's important that the traveller themselves completes the University Travel Log and assesses the risks of travel prior to the trip.

In line with the University's Travel Risk Management Policy, if you are travelling on University business to an overseas territory, you are required to complete the Travel Log prior to travelling.

It is the responsibility of the person travelling (not a delegated member of staff eg administrator, DSA etc.) to ensure that they themselves have completed the travel log and a travel risk assessment before making any travel bookings where it is required. The traveller is best placed to assess the hazards associated with the travel and the control measures to reduce the risk.

More information about Travel Risk Assessments is on the Travelling Overseas webpage
