An Invitation to an Informal Research Gathering

The University of York and York St John University is home to the North Eastern Social Statistics network – NESSt(n). This is a network comprising social researchers involved in the analysis of large scale, representative, administrative and Big Data. NESSt(n) is primarily based in the North East of England, North Yorkshire and Humberside. The network facilitates collaboration, knowledge exchange and training.

Our summer meeting takes place on Wednesday 10th of July from 10am in Wentworth College, University of York, Room: W243. Map here.

This is a friendly, collegiate meeting. Please come and present on your work in progress or on aspects of wider note and interest to those working with large and representative data. Presenters have around thirty minutes speaking time and ten minutes for questions. We are informal and flexible and a speaker is welcome to use as much or a little of their time as they wish.
