Welcome to the York tDCS lab, run by Beth Jefferies and based in the Department of Psychology. We are exploring whether this technique can be used to improve comprehension and language skills. To do this, we are studying both healthy volunteers and people who’ve had a stroke, to assess whether task training and electrical stimulation can improve performance.
Our work is currently funded by the European Research Council, BBSRC and Stroke Association.
