Pump Priming Call from EPSRC International Network for Spintronics 2023 (For UK groups)
The EPSRC-funded International Network for Spintronics is focused on the development of new spintronic-related ideas for low-energy computing devices. It brings together world-leading spintronics groups in the UK, Europe and Japan including York, Leeds, Manchester, Kaiserslautern, SPINTEC and Tohoku University. The network aims to promote and support collaboration between partners through symposia, researcher exchanges and collaboration.
Pump Priming Fund: We are now opening the 2023 call for pump priming fund of up to £15k to initiate new collaborations with partners in the network.

Symposium at Tohoku University: We are also pleased to announce that our partners in Japan will organise a spintronics symposium at the Institute for Materials Research at Tohoku University on 12-13 May 2023. This will take place just before the Intermag Conference which will also be held in Sendai on 15-19 May 2023. The meeting is being organised by Profs. Umetsu, Mizukami and Endoh together with four of their PhD students and details of the programme and registration will be circulated once available. All members of staff and students working in spintronics in the UK are invited to attend this meeting (online or in person).
