Times Good University Guide 2019

Posted on 25 September 2018

The Department of History has placed 7th in the latest Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Rising six places from last year, the department has made its mark as one of the best places to study History in the UK, reflecting our reputation for teaching and research excellence and dedication to the student experience.

The league table is derived from official data from the Research Excellence Framework 2014, the Higher Education Statistics Agency and this year’s National Student Survey, and also takes into account factors such as graduate prospects and social inclusion.

History is one of nine departments at York to achieve top ten status.
