The Stained Glass Research School will be hosting its annual PhD conference on 4th and 5th May 2017. This year’s symposium will open with a day of papers, led by a keynote address by Professor Tim Ayers on his recent research into St Stephen’s Chapel, Westminster. The second day will be spent visiting sites with stained glass which is of particular relevance to the theme of the conference, including Gilling Castle and Sir William Turner's Hospital chapel in Kirkleatham.
