Networks, Systems, Them, Me, Us

Wednesday 28 January 2015, 5.15PM to 6.45pm

How does being part of a network relate, or not, to being part of a system?  What theoretical and methodological approaches are involved in thinking systemically or via networks? How do these things generate or capture an experience or connectivity? And how have ideas of subjectivity been differently inflected across historical periods?

Short position papers from:

  • Simon Ditchfield (History/CREMS)
  • Dan Franks (Biology/YCCSA)
