MA Taster session in History of Art

Saturday 24 April 2010, 2.00PM to 16:00

The History of Art Department is holding a taught MA taster session on Saturday 24th April. This informal session, for which there is no charge, is aimed at those with a general interest in art and architecture who would like to learn more about these subjects, and might consider studying an MA in History of Art. All are welcome; your first degree doesn’t have to be in History of Art and you don’t have to have studied an undergraduate course recently to undertake the MA programme – you just need to demonstrate an enthusiastic interest in the subject and the potential for further study.

This free session will be held at King’s Manor (room K/133) on Saturday 24th April 14:00-16:00 and will be led by Professor Mark Hallett, Head of Department, and Dr. Sarah Turner. Refreshments will be available. We will have one of our current MA students on hand to share her experiences, while Susanna Frater, our Postgraduate Administrator, will also be present to answer questions about the application process.

If you are interested in attending, please call Susanna Frater to sign-up for the session: 01904 433483 or send her an e-mail. If you are unable to make the session, but are interested in learning more, please do not hesitate to contact Susanna for more information. If there is sufficient interest, the Department will try to schedule another event later this year for those unable to attend on 24th April.
