PhD opportunities

The Department of Environment and Geography is a leading centre for teaching and research on sustainable solutions to the world's environmental issues.

We offer a wide range of PhD projects to students from the UK and overseas. We have opportunities funded by research councils, charities and industry and projects for self-funding students and those with scholarships from their home country.

There are scholarships or studentships sourced from external research grants, including:
