New Postgraduate Bursaries for English Literature for 2013/4!

The Department of English and Related Literature is delighted to announce five new bursaries of £1,000 each for postgraduate students on taught MA programmes, starting in 2013.

Successful candidates who have accepted York as their Firm choice by 31 August 2013 will be automatically eligible for these awards. Decisions will be based on academic considerations and winners will be announced in September.

The qualifying MA programmes are:

Film and Literature
English Literary Studies
Cultures of Empire, Resistance and Postcoloniality
Medieval Literatures
Renaissance Literature, 1500-1700
Romantic and Sentimental Literature
Nineteenth-Century Literature and Culture
Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture

If you have not yet accepted your offer from us, you should do so now in order to be eligible for consideration for a scholarship.

If you have not yet applied, but would like to be considered for one of these bursaries, you should do so before the end of July, with a view to making York your firm choice by the end of August.
