F R Leavis Studentships for MA study

Posted on 3 May 2013

We are delighted to announce the creation of two new studentships for MA study commencing in 2013.

F R Leavis

They are named after the literary critic F R Leavis, who was closely associated with the Department of English and Related Literature from its foundation until his death in 1978, and they will be supported by the Leavis Fund, an endowment raised in his name by former colleagues, students and friends.

The studentships will be open to home/EU and overseas students, and will take the form of a fee waiver at the home/EU rate.

The successful candidates will be chosen from those who have received an offer of place for MA study in the Department by 15th May 2013; there is no need to submit a separate application.
