Tess's play, "The Prince of Humberside", won the Kevin Greening Creativity Award at the Awards Evening on 9 November 2011.  The play is a black comedy featuring a dialogue between a suicidal teenager and a bored and unhelpful worker on a suicide helpline.  The judges said "To produce this style of radio to a high standard is something that many professionals would struggle to do. Everything about this entry oozes quality and it blew the judges away the first time they heard it.  Fingers crossed the makers of this entry will continue in this genre".

The play can still be heard on the URY player.
