Biography
Rafael is a PhD Student at the Department of Economics and Related Studies, supervised by Professor Yves Balasko. His current research focus on the application of General Equilibrium Theory to traditional Auction Theory.
Other research interests include Industrial Economics and Macroeconomics.
Rafael obtained MSc. Degree with Distinction from the University of York in Development Economics and Emerging Markets (January, 2014), with his MSc. thesis titled “Innovation and Inflation: A theoretical model of imperfect competition where innovation gives rise to inflationary pressures”. He completed his Bachelor degree in Law (December, 2010) from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and his Bachelor degree in Business Administration (April, 2011) from Escola de Administracao de Empresas de Sao Paulo – Fundacao Getulio Vargas (EAESP-FGV), both in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
