Yorkshire Environmental Sciences Doctoral Training Network
Yorkshire Environmental Sciences Doctoral Training Network (YES-DTN) will train the next generation of environmental scientists to tackle the global environmental science questions of the future.
The YES-DTN is a partnership between the University of Leeds, the University of York, the National Centre for Atmospheric Science and a wide range of industry, charity and governmental partners.
The programme will provide a multi-disciplinary science and training environment across two closely located campuses. Using the synergies within and across the departments in Earth and Environment (Leeds), Geography (Leeds), Chemistry (Leeds), Biology (Leeds), and the Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories (York).
The University of Leeds and the University of York have been collaborating on PhD training as part of two previous Doctoral Training Partnerships (SPHERES, Panorama) and have successfully trained more than 200 PhD students for a wide range of careers since 2014.
