Chemistry@York achieved a highly impressive overall score of 84.0% and was ranked fifth for Chemistry in the Guardian University Guide. The league table, which ranks fifty UK Chemistry Departments, highlighted the consistently excellent performance of The Department of Chemistry at York in various areas including satisfied with course, satisfied with teaching, and satisfied with feedback.
Head of Department, Professor Richard Taylor, noted “once again York Chemistry is in the top 5 of a national league table - and we are particularly delighted with the high scores for course satisfaction and teaching satisfaction”.
An ‘at-a-glance’ guide to the University of York includes information on fees, bursaries, accommodation and facilities, including the opening of a £9 million Sports Village last year.
