Thermal analysis

Our thermal gravimetric analyser, coupled with a GC/MS, is housed in the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence. It can be used for a wide variety of applications.

Additionally, two simultaneous thermal analysers and a differential scanning calorimeter are available.

What problems can we solve?

  • Determine the thermal stability of a material
  • Material composition analysis
  • Analysing the rate of degradation
  • Measuring moisture content
  • Purity assessment and quality control
  • Identify and quantify phase transitions
