High throughput 2D-IR spectroscopy

The two-dimensional infrared (2D-IR) facility provides access to ultrafast 2D-IR spectroscopy for biomolecular analysis. 

Particular strengths include:

  • Analysis of protein secondary structure and dynamics in H₂O-rich solutions
  • Protein-ligand interactions
  • Nucleic acid structure and dynamics
  • Biofluid analysis.

The facility is led by Professor Neil Hunt.
