Advisory Panels
Service Experts Advisory Panel
Our Service Experts Advisory Panel (SEAP) is made up of seven members of the public who have lived experience of the work carried out by Employment Advisers within the NHS Talking Therapies services. They are our "Lived Experience Contributors". We also have four frontline staff who currently or have previously delivered or managed NHS Talking Therapies Employment Adviser services.
Lived Experience Contributors of the SEAP:
- provide insights from their experience of the Employment Adviser service to give feedback and advice across the whole project
- direct the focus of investigations to key issues of importance to service users
- identify implications of the results for patients, service users and carers
- advise on how to disseminate the findings in accessible ways.
Employment Adviser members of the SEAP:
- provide insights into the role of Employment Advisers
- refine questionnaires and guide content to address the most pertinent issues
- help interpret our research findings and emerging themes
- advise on the most appropriate and effective ways of sharing our results with the Employment Adviser community.

The PEAP members offer insights and recommendations based on their knowledge and experience in their respective fields. Their involvement in the project helps to ensure that policies are informed by diverse perspectives and up-to-date research.
