AAIP launches AMLAS tool to support use of leading methodology

New tool will help machine learning developers and safety engineers create a safety case for ML components
The AAIP team has developed a new tool to guide users through its leading Assurance of Machine Learning for use in Autonomous Systems methodology (AMLAS) and create a safety case for their machine learnt (ML) component.
The tool, which is free to download and use, enables users to:
- be guided through the AMLAS activities and add artefacts as they are created
- automatically create the safety case for the ML component
- keep track of progress and see how much is left to do
- share the status of the ML safety case with colleagues
A user guide and video have been created to support the use of the tool.
