Opportunity: Climate Fresk facilitator training

News | Posted on Tuesday 27 February 2024

Learn how to create safe spaces to deliver quality climate education.

Saturday 9 March, 12pm - 3.15pm (King's Manor, Exhibition Square, York)

If you have participated in a Climate Fresk workshop - you are able to continue your journey and train up as a facilitator yourself.

Join experienced facilitator and trainer Sophia Cheng for 3 hours as we get under the skin of the Climate Fresk workshop.

We will cover the content of the workshop, the pedagogy and your role as a facilitator. We will also cover the licensing agreement and introduce you to the global community of facilitators.

Please note it's quite an intense workshop, we cover a lot in 3 hours.

This workshop has changed many people's lives and when done responsibly can be a powerful motivator for action. It is also a fulfilling way to take climate action.

**You must have participated in a Climate Fresk workshop to take part in this training**

These are small group workshops with limited spaces: We urge you only sign up if you fully intend to join, and to cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.

The activity is open to all but is primarily aimed at adults. We will have access to a toilet.

YorkCliConnect is a project led by Dr Abi Perrin & Dr Lynda Dunlop of the University of York, in collaboration with Sophia Cheng of With Many Roots. Funded by ESAY (Environmental Sustainability at York)
