York-Mahidol Sustainability Symposium: an opportunity to share your project

We have an exciting opportunity for final year students from all departments to take part in this year's online international symposium.

Does your final year project or dissertation touch on a global development challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity to participate at this year's online international symposium on sustainability. It is open to final year students in all departments who want to explore, share, and discuss some of the exciting sustainability-themed projects across the University of York and Mahidol in Thailand.

This is an opportunity for you to show your work in the form of a poster at the York-Mahidol student project exhibition on 23 May 2023. We are looking for final year projects or dissertations that touch on a global development challenge involving one or more of the following:

  1. Climate change

  2. Poverty, inequality, poor health

  3. Clean and sustainable water, air, and energy

  4. Food security and sound agricultural practice

  5. Sustainable human settlements, economic growth, industrialization, and lifestyles

  6. Biodiversity on land and below water

We want to share a diverse range of projects from all different disciplines so please consider applying by clicking the link below before the 31 March.

We will also be offering a poster training workshop on 28 April for those who are interested in taking part. This session will provide you with practical tips for making a good poster, and an opportunity to work with other students on your poster with support from academic and professional staff.
