Global Strategy Committee

Global Strategy Committee reports to Senate, and to University Executive Board as necessary.

Objectives

Global Strategy Committee oversees the development and implementation of the University's Global Plan, with its members drawing together the relevant strategic leads and budget holders along with student representation.

Global Strategy Committee's Terms of Reference
  1. To oversee the development of the University Global Plan in support of the University of York Strategy to 2030 and related sub-strategies.
  2. To ensure effective implementation of the Global Plan, including the commissioning of specific work relating to each of the strategic pillars and cross-cutting themes.
  3. To receive the output of regional boards, integrating regional priorities with wider University strategic development aims.

Membership will be reviewed annually.

Meetings

Global Strategy Committee meets once per semester.
