What is YuCall?
YuCall is York’s bi-annual telethon campaign. Forming a key part of York Unlimited, we are a team of 30 students who have great conversations and champion York’s philanthropic causes by chatting to you, our lovely community of alumni and friends.
We ask for philanthropic donations towards a variety of charitable funds, which support everything from student scholarships to providing grants for student groups on Campus.
At the forefront of what we do is making sure we have great conversations with our alumni, whether they donate or not. We value the insight and careers advice that our alumni can offer, as well as finding common interests and reminiscing about York. If you’re around when we call, please consider picking up the phone and having a chat with us!
It’s fascinating to speak to alumni who have been where you are and to hear their stories and of course, it’s all for an excellent cause.
